Why you should be a member:
I can’t express in words how much I value my membership. It’s not about what the organization does for me as an individual. It’s about the “BIG PICTURE”. Through ESPOC and AEA/NEA, I/we can elevate ourselves to a higher level of excellence.
Our dues help improve public education , provides training for local members, maintains a strong voice in Arizona and national legislation and most of all provides a bond of commitment within support professionals. The organization continues to improve our educational system for the children and all our employees.
Our goal is to maintain equal treatment with all other employees regarding our issues and concerns with salaries, benefits, and working conditions. Not until I joined the organization did I realize that giving is more valuable than receiving.
Our Support Employees joined because they know a larger membership of individuals supporting our concerns will provide a louder voice to district leadership.

Quality Public Education for all
We believe that every child is entitled to a free, quality, public education. Rich or poor, black or white, gifted or disabled - all our children deserve the chance to grow, to learn, and to reach their potential.
Fairness, Equity, and Respect for All
We believe that every person is entitled to be treated fairly and with respect. Students and school employees should be honored for their differences in culture, history, language, religion, physical condition, ethnicity, and learning styles. These differences enrich our society.
Teaching as an Esteemed Profession
Because of the power of teaching and its value to the future, to our society and to our children, we work to enhance the esteem with which teaching is held by society.
Learning as a Community Commitment
Schools are part of communities. They reflect communities and can change them for the better. Communities and schools must join hands to ensure that each continues to learn, grow, and progress.
